Sognare is St. Louis’ newest venue located inside the pink “DREAM” building off Lafayette Avenue. Meaning "to dream" in Italian, you can't help but do just that in this space. Sognare was created by award winning event designers and its chic, yet laid-back vibe is perfect for any event.
As you walk into the space, you’ll immediately take in the viney greenery spanning the entire ceiling, accented by soft bistro lighting and hanging rattan chandeliers. The space boasts rich elements like designer wallpaper treatments, neutral earth tone colors, and two-hundred year old beams with clean and modern elements like white washed brick walls, contemporary chair options, beautiful built-ins, and a top of the line prep kitchen any caterer will love!

Sognare has three single, gender-neutral bathrooms.
BOTTICELLI’S PRIMAVERA
The wrap-around wallpaper is a replica of Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera from the late 1400s.
“This painting, usually known as the Primavera [or ‘Spring’] shows nine figures from classic mythology advancing over a flowery lawn in a grove of orange and laurel trees. In the foreground, to the right, Zephyrus embraces a nymph named Chloris; she is then portrayed after her transformation into Flora, the spring goddess. The centre of the painting is dominated by the goddess of love and beauty, Venus, and by a blindfolded Cupid, firing his arrow of love.
On the left, the three Graces, minor goddesses with virtues like those of Venus, are shown dancing in a circle. The composition is closed by Mercury, messenger of the Gods, recognizable from his helmet and winged sandals, as he touches a cloud with his staff.
Although the complex meaning of the composition remains a mystery, the painting is a celebration of love, peace, and prosperity.

The space offers a myriad of options for seating. With a formal seated dinner and dance floor, the space comfortably seats 150. The rental of Sognare comes with a mix of reclaimed farm tables and 60” round tables along with two premium chair options, black Bentwood chairs and wooden X-back chairs.
